The book I needed as a child — written for the next generation.
Before you decide if The Little Dream That Wouldn’t Give Up is right for your child, I want to share why it exists.
I didn’t always believe my dreams were allowed.

As a teenager, I spent years trying to earn approval — learning how to be agreeable, quiet, and careful. By the time I reached Year 12, I loved writing and dreamed of studying a Bachelor of Arts.

One comment. One laugh.
And I decided that dream was embarrassing.

I never went to university as planned. I went back to school changed — less confident, less willing to try.
When you decide your dream doesn’t matter, it’s hard to believe that you do either.

Years later, watching my daughter graduate university gave me the courage to return to my own dream — and somewhere in that remembering, this book was born.
